I am working on two books based on extracts from local newspapers, 1914-1918. The first will be a biographical index of Cork men and women who served in the Great War, the second a biographical index of the Royal Munster Fusiliers, 1914-1918. I hope that these might be published eventually.

In the meantime, if you are looking for more information on a relative from Cork who served in the Great War or a relative who served in the Royal Munster Fusiliers, leave a message on the guestbook and I will get back to you. I am also happy to assist researchers and provide copies of any photographs/cuttings on this site. - Jean Prendergast
